My husband and I want to go camping. I live in Chesapeake,VA and we dont want to travel any more than 2 hours. Know of any campgrounds??

State parks are always the best way to go...campgrounds like KOA are pretty lame. I haven't lived in Va. for about 10 years but there is a ton of stuff around you. Just figure out where you want to go a lake, the mountains and then search the area you will find soem great camping. I recomend the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Go to campingnc.com - it is a great site with lots of choices for you, whether looking to camp in the NC mountains, piedmont or beach.
